Process Improvement and Lean Six Sigma

Happy Monday! As we all begin the process of gearing up for another academic year, it is the perfect time to really take a look over your processes and procedures to see if there is room for improvement.

As a recent Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, I have come to love the framework that I learned while taking the course for helping me to improve processing times and workflows!! I put together this short "intro" to Lean Six Sigma ppt, and I hope that you find it helpful.

I was first tipped off about Lean Six Sigma through a webinar hosted by Partners in Medicine (July 2017 Lean Six Sigma for GME). It was eye opening, and I wanted to learn more, so I reached out directly to the speaker, who forwarded me a listing of various online resources to obtain Lean Six Sigma certification. After I decided on a company, I reached out to my institutions HR/Organizational Development office to request reimbursement, which they wholeheartedly supported!

If anyone is interested in learning more about Lean Six Sigma or if you have questions about the ppt linked above, please email or post your comment below!
